How does home ventilation work?

A home ventilation system works much like our own respiratory system by drawing in fresh air and filtering it. A ventilation system does this by replacing the damp air in your home with the fresh filter from your ceiling space. This results in a dryer home which is easier, and cheaper to heat. A home ventilation system will also help remove condensation on windows, as well as reduce harmful mold.

What are the benefits of home ventilation?

There’s no denying that fresh air is essential to humans – we need it to survive. In an ideal world, we would be outside all day long breathing in clean, pure air. Unfortunately, this is not the case. We often have to be inside in poorly ventilated buildings, which can be detrimental to our health. It is important to have well-ventilated rooms at home and in the workplace. So what are the benefits of home ventilation systems?

What do Smart vent systems do?

Control Condensation with SmartVent positive

The air is then passed throug a filter and introduced into your home to positively pressurize with fresh, clean air and force out moist, stale air. Your SmartVent positive system uses two sensors (roof cavity and within the home) to monitor temperature and is controlled via a multi-function touch-screen controller. Your SmartVent positive system has optional add-ons including heat transfer, summer feature and tempering heaters to provide year-round comfort and other features you would expect from a classic ventilation system.

How much does a Smart Vent System cost to run?

SmartVent systems cost from as little as 35 cents per day to operate.
